Event Service Complex
The Schobermesse or Schueberfouer in Luxembourg is the oldest (and one of the largest, at 4 hectares) annual funfairs in Europe.
Walpont SARL, providers of on-site restaurants and entertainment venues for the fair for many years, introduced their new Beer Hall timber structure for the event in August 2023. Part of the layout involved the inclusion of 13 Linked service units in the style of shipping containers, to provide Kitchen, Toilets, and Storage facilities.
The funfair is held on the Glacis square in the city district of Limpertsberg, a location which has a slope of up to 1 in 20 at some points.
The Walpont site sloped in both axes, so the Regent FloorStak support and levelling system was ideal for levelling the installation, and also for ensuring that the entry point to the Beer Hall was exactly the correct height, so that waiters and staff encountered no trip hazard.
System design, manufacture, delivery and installation were all completed in less than 8 weeks from the order date, including specially designed Connection Plates which provided precise locations for the structure mounting points.
