New Product Launch- Showman’s Show 2013

October 11, 2013

We are pleased to announce the launch of the FloorStak Beam System at the Showman’s Show 2013, which is being held at Newbury Showground on October 23rd and 24th.

Designed for use with floor systems other than the “cassette” type, the FloorStak Beam system effectively creates a fully integrated platform structure. We provide custom-made attachment brackets to suit your floor system.

The FloorStak columns work in exactly the same way as they do with Cassette floors, so installers with a mix of systems can invest with confidence, knowing that FloorStak can be used with whichever flooring is being used.

This product, along with others in the FloorStak range, will be on display courtesy of our UK distributors, Tectonics UK Ltd, on Stand No. 308, Lew Spencer Avenue.

A further opportunity to see our products will be at the BEST OF EVENTS show in Dortmund on 22nd and 23rd January 2014, hall 4, Stand No E30.

FloorStak All at Sea

July 5, 2013

Regent have recently provided a FloorStak system to Stopteltat Event Oy, of Orimattila, Finland. Their Managing Director, Terrtu Keskinen-Ronkko, first saw the FloorStak system at the Showman’s Show, Newbury, last year and made the decision to invest there and then. Subsequent meetings between Regent and Stopteltat revealed that both companies share the reputation for taking on the difficult jobs that other companies were likely to decline.

The first event selected by Stopteltat for FloorStak was for a wedding reception on a small coastal private estate near the beautiful Tammisaari National Park. The site presented a number of difficulties, including fitting the 350 Sq Metre Marquee complex into a very restricted area, and the combination of a steeply sloping sandy beach with very large rocky outcrops. The only practical solution was to use FloorStak to project the main structure out over the sea – with truly spectacular results!

Overall the installation was an excellent example of how versatile and adaptable FloorStak can be, and we are confident that the system will give Stopteltat many opportunities for further impressive and innovative event solutions in the future.

Joseph Benjamin Marquee Showcase

May 31, 2013

Last month customers Joseph Benjamin Marquees held a marquee showcase, at their premises in Buckinghamshire. The event allowed Joseph Benjamin to demonstrate their marquees to potential customers, also demonstrating the Regent FloorStak system in action.  The demonstration marquee covered approximately 600m2 split over 2 levels, fully supported by FloorStak columns.  A particular feature of the marquee was the sunken dance floor, which to quote company director Joseph Goode ” was made much  easier to achieve through the use of FloorStak”.

So, yet another example of Regent FloorStak’s adaptability in providing a solution to a customer problem.

By all means give us a ring if you think we can support you and your marquee. We’d be pleased to talk it through with you.

Auf Weidersehen Alex

September 11, 2012

Regent have recently said goodbye to their German intern student Alex Fortainer. Alex has been working with the company for over 6 months, carrying out work on Regent FloorStak in particular, preparing the project for presentation and certification by TUV (German Test House). Upon returning to Germany, Alex will continue his studies at Stuttgart University, completing his masters before moving on to a PHD sponsored by Porsche.

The Regent FloorStak

The floor support system especially designed for the event industry.

The increasing demands being placed upon the Event Structures industry to provide safe and secure structures have led the Regent Engineering Company to design the Regent FloorStak – a simple to assemble, yet secure system for supporting temporary flooring, particulary “cassette” type floors.
